CUFA would like to wish all of our wonderful supporters a Happy New Year!

The year ahead is yet another exciting one for the CUFA Team which aims to expand programs and reach more people living in poverty throughout the Asia Pacific region. There are also plenty of activities for you to get involved in.

Some exciting events coming up this year for you to pop into your calendar:

February 1 – Applications for CUFA’s Awards and Scholarships close

February 25 –Leadership Challenge Free Information Evening If you’re interested in Challenging yourself and fulfilling that new year’s resolution this year then come along to our free information evening held in our offices in Sydney CBD. Snacks and refreshments provided. Contact Emma for more details.

May 1-12 –Fijian Leadership Challenge paddles off

July 1-12 –Cambodian Leadership Challenge gets pedalling

August (TBC) –CUFA’s First Annual General Meeting for our founding member organisations is scheduled

September 27–October 6 – The first Timor Leste Leadership Challenge kicks off. The trip is raising money to start the Children’s Financial Literacy program in Timor Leste – a fantastic cause.

October 16 – MAD Day 2014 will be making a difference again with organisations and individuals across Australia holding events to raise funds for CUFA’s work in the Asia Pacific region.

November – Development Education (DE) – venue and date TBC.

CUFA look forward to the year ahead and can’t wait to keep you updated on how it is progressing. We look forward to seeing you at one of the above events. Happy New Year!
