MAD Day is shorthand for MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY! The day is all about celebrating the mutual movement and supporting CUFA’s work in the Asia Pacific.

When: Friday 17th October, and throughout the month of October.

MAD Day is run in conjunction with Anti-Poverty Week, an event held annually and nationwide with the goal of highlighting and overcoming issues related to poverty which affect people both here in Australia and internationally.

By taking part in MAD Day you will be participating in a nationwide movement that incorporates not just the Customer Owned Banking sector but the country as a whole.

Get involved!

Host an event and raise money and awareness of CUFA’s Village Entrepreneur program that supports a Village Entrepreneur in Cambodia and Timor-Leste to change their life and step out of poverty by starting up a business.

A fundraising target of $1,332 has been set for each event which will support one villager and their family through the entire program, helping give them skills needed to step out of poverty into a sustainable future.
