Cufa believes that to support communities to emerge from poverty, it is important to provide targeted and evidence-based vocational skills training to assist aspiring and existing entrepreneurs.

Our Livelihoods and Village Entrepreneur Programs provide the opportunity to learn tailored new technical, financial and business development and growth skills. Through our Family Livelihoods Improvement Program, Cufa has enabled some of the most vulnerable communities in Cambodia to support themselves during the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, thanks to the generous ongoing support of our Community Investors, our Village Entrepreneur Program empowers entrepreneurs to start and expand micro-enterprises, developing them into viable, sustainable and profitable business.

While it is undoubtedly an important start, developing a sustainable source of income may not by itself be enough to end intergenerational poverty in our partner communities for good.
